Medical information, not a diagnosis
This guide supports informed discussion with a dentist. Suitability, timing and treatment details require individual examination and imaging.
Dental veneers in China may appeal to patients seeking aesthetic treatment during a Beijing stay, but the decision should begin with tooth condition and smile design rather than a promotional package. Veneers are thin restorations bonded mainly to the front surface of teeth; crowns cover much more of the tooth.
Standard porcelain veneers
Standard porcelain veneers can provide predictable colour and form at a more accessible price. Pricing depends on the ceramic option, case design, preparation and laboratory requirements. See the current published prices on our porcelain veneers treatment page. The written plan should name the ceramic option and state what is included.
Hand-layered feldspathic veneers
Feldspathic porcelain is built by hand in thin ceramic layers. In experienced hands it can reproduce subtle translucency, surface texture and individual character. It is not automatically the right choice for every bite or tooth. Pricing is individual because design and laboratory work vary.

Minimal-prep and no-prep claims
The amount of tooth preparation depends on tooth position, existing colour, enamel, previous restorations, bite and the intended shape. No-prep is suitable only in selected cases. Adding ceramic without enough space can create bulky contours or difficult cleaning.
Veneers versus crowns
A veneer may suit a tooth that is largely healthy and needs a conservative aesthetic change. A crown may be more appropriate when a tooth is heavily restored, cracked, root-treated or needs broader structural coverage. The choice should protect remaining tooth tissue and long-term function.
The Beijing workflow
A confirmed veneer case can normally be completed within ten days according to the current partner-clinic workflow, but the schedule still depends on case complexity and laboratory stages. Planning includes examination, smile design, preparation when needed, provisional management, try-in, bonding and bite checks.
